Anyone had an issue whereby the keyless entry and start doesn’t work. Walked up to my car today, didn’t unlock, pressed unlock in the key and it unlocked. Got in, pushed start and got a fob not detected message. Placed the key next to the sensor and it started.
Got home and couldn’t lock the car, pressed the lock button on the key and heard the locks click, but still unlocked. Manual key also doesn’t lock.
Vauxhall can’t see me until Monday even though I said I’m concerned at leaving the car unlocked for 4 days.
An hour after I got home it locked itself. So I’m thinking it’s reset itself, but scared to unlock in case it won’t lock again.
Interested to know if anyone else has experienced this and what the issue was. I’m hoping it’s not one of those random things where Vauxhall say the cars fine as it’s now working.
My car is a 24 plate Astra 1.2 peteol ultimate, 5k miles caught new in March this year.
Keyless not working
Hi had exactly this issue last night for the 3rd time this year only bought car in January only done 7300 miles it’s already had I new ecu that hasn’t cured the problem not only that the dealer couldn’t even program new ecu even though it was built specifically for my car vin number then it took two weeks for there tech department in Belgium to program it took to car and has now caused other issues .car is going back to dealer tomorrow and getting told I don’t want it back until all issues are resolved had more problems with this Astra than I’ve had with cars in general in over 20 years for a car that cost 42500 it’s an absolute joke .
